  • Next steps
    • Homework: Internal soul-searching session on related dojo opportunity engagements
    • Contact NRM to initiate an NRM Dojo Jumpstart soon – typically at least one month out

Dojo engagement

  • Formal kick-off: (typically Wednesday of prior week but influenced by sprint cycle)
    • Introduce Dojo topic to leaders & the team involved
    • Explain daily dojo progression, involvement, and participation expectations
    • Explain access to NRM client content
    • Explain content specific homework if any that may be needed to hit the ground running
  • Enter the dojo (varies somewhat based on topic area):
    • Day 1: Get oriented and get started up to 3 hours
    • Day 2: Continue making progress up to 2 hours
    • Day 3: Continue making progress up to 2 hours
    • Day 4: Continue making progress up to 2 hours
    • Day 5: Wrap it up + Next Steps + Q & A up to 2 hours

    • Some dojos work through the process to set the stage for what needs to be done – So next you may need to go do what your team has designed.
